Equorum is a British brand of model horses owned and created by Helen Moore. The models are produced in latex with a synthetic mane and tail. They are solid latex and are characterised by very heavy weight.
The models are sold either through the website as completed pieces or made to order in either standard colours or to a specific brief. The majority of models were produced with a latex dock holding the tail up but some pieces were produced without a dock. Extras such as feathering or re-positioned body parts cost more and add variety to the range.
Equorum model horses are still produced in very small quantities and you can occasionally buy them direct. They are made in a variety of different scales including the Stablemate sized Pixie Ponies, slightly larger 4 square, regular 1:12 scale pieces and the larger 1:9 scale pieces.
As well as standard moulds some OOAK models are produced and many models have unique re-positioning and reworking of the original mould.

The Ranges
Equorum model horses were originally produced in 1:12 scale in a variety of moulds.
Shortly after the Pixie Ponies were introduced, these are about 1:32 scale and about the same size as Stablemates. Like the other horses they are produced to order or sold painted.
The 4 Square models are slightly larger, around the size of a Paddock Pal model. These are also produced to order or sold painted.
Finally there is the larger 1:9 scale range. These models are much larger and weigh a lot due to the solid latex construction.
As well as the horses a range of dogs and other animals are also produced. There are also possible latex riders and odd accessories and tack.
