About CollectA
CollectA are a brand of animal miniatures that have been specialise mainly in dinosaurs and equines. Their horse models are produced in three scales, the standard range which is around 1:18 scale, the Deluxe range which is around 1:12 scale and the new Minis range which is around 1:64 scale.
CollectA have had horses in their range for years but became popular amongst model horse hobbyists when they started to produce moulds sculpted by Deborah McDermott. There is now an extensive range of horses and equines featuring nearly all breeds. Models are often available in two different colours. Horses are sold individually or in boxed sets with other horses or animals.
The USA distribution rights to CollectA are owned by Reeves International and are sold under the brand 'CollectA by Breyer'. These models are identical to the CollectA available in the rest of the world with the exception of the branding.
