Maximum entries per class: 6 horses

Rules:

• No deleting/editing or moving of other peoples horses
• Open to all showers and all makes
• No digitally edited photographs
• Novice is for those who have been PHOTO showing for less than 2 years only.
• There is a maximum of 6 horses per class.
• Judges Decision is final
• Performance entries MUST have a horse or rider, if they don't then there must be a reason (e.g. field scene)
• You MUST include in the TITLE - Horses Name, Breed/Colour/Discipline (depending on class), Gender, Finish, Your Name/Forum Name (whichever you want)
• No foals in adult breed classes
• Horses that do not have the right information, are in the wrong class, break the rules or who fail to meet large parts of the breed standards (e.g. wrong colour or gait) will be disqualified.

 

I have explained each class underneath as I learnt from my last show that people seem to find some of the class names confusing.

Appaloosa coloured horses only, any breed.

Purebred Arabians only

 4. Bay, Brown and Black - Colour

Including all dilutes excluding palomino, pintos or Appaloosas

 7. European

Any European horse or pony (excluding those that have specific other classes)

Novice showers, any pure or partbred horse

 10. Novice - Colour

Novice showers, any colour of horse

Introduction

          Thank you very much to everyone who entered. I am sorry the results took so long what with finishing University and everything else that has happened these last few months everything model horse related took a back seat. However, they are done now and you can enjoy them. Well done to everyone it seems the more I judge these shows the better you lot get! So keep improving I love to see it. O and well done to everyone who found the Arabian album that for some reason didn’t end up in the right place! For those that didn’t I accepted your entries in Other Horse as it wasn’t your fault my album decided to go for a little trip elsewhere.

Judging Notes

• Because of time constraints I had to start doing some deletion of pictures. So your pictures may not be there for me to give feedback on them so you may have ot email them to me.
• Heavy White (Sabino) AQH’s – My view on these is thus: If you can provide reference of a real registered AQH in that colour then the photo is accepted. If not then it is disqualified as being not the right colour for the breed. I know it’s a controversial area but that is my standpoint on the subject.
• ‘Types’ – Horses that are ‘types’ such as Riding Ponies or Hunters should go in Partbred. The same is true of generic ‘cob’ creatures, whether you describe them as Gypsy Vanners, Tinkers or Irish Cobs, they are still PB Cobs and should go in Partbred. This is as per UK Showing Standards and is the standard for most UK Live Shows. This goes for Heavy Horse classes as well, cobs aren’t a purebred breed (unless they are something specific like a Welsh Cob) and should go in partbred.
• Welsh Cobs – These should be in British Breeds not Heavy Horse
• Warmbloods – Just writing Warmblood isn’t acceptable. Warmbloods are actual breeds (not types like Sport Horses) so they do need a specific breed. If you are not sure make it an American these can pretty much look like anything.
• Morgans – These aren’t gaited.
• Friesians – Not counted as Iberian
